Unlimited skiing fun for children and families in Mountopolis in the Zillertal: The Mayrhofner Bergbahnen offer wide, sunny slopes and ideal conditions for a relaxed family ski holiday in Tirol. The gentle blue runs on the Ahorn Plateau and the child-friendly lifts are perfect for first turns in the snow. On slope 4a, the AlbertAdler Tour takes you on a fun adventure with child-friendly obstacles inspired by the world of AlbertAdler.

FunRide Ahorn: This absolute highlight slope guarantees fun for both young and old.
PistenBock Toboggan Fun: A ride on one of the PistenBocks offers an entertaining alternative to skiing.
Mayrhofen 3000 Children’s Ski School: Featuring its own practice area right next to the mountain station and ski lessons specially designed for children.
Ahornbahn: Even the ride up on Austria’s largest cable car to the Ahorn Plateau is an unforgettable experience, offering breathtaking views of the Zillertal and the opposite Mount Penken.
SkyRide Ahorn: Experience a ride on the open panoramic deck of the Ahornbahn.
AlbertAdler PlayWorld by Ravensburger: Covering around 140 m², this indoor play world is packed with fun attractions including a large climbing wall, a playhouse with books, an eagle’s nest with audio stations, GraviTrax and Brio play tables, giant puzzles, and memory games – the perfect indoor adventure for children.
KINDERLAND HORBERG
at the valley station Horbergbahn
With its 69 meters long magic carpet and 180 meters long T-bar lift, the KinderLand Horberg at the Horbergbahn Valley Station is a great place for young winter sports fans. There are two snow canons that ensure good conditions even in winters with little snow, so nothing can stop the kids from having a great time on the slopes. The little ones feel right at home on skis, sleds, discs, and everything else that lets them slide on the snow. There even is a machine for hot and cold drinks. Opening times at the KinderLand Horberg: Daily (depending on snow conditions) from 9.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. / Wednesdays and Fridays until 7.00 p.m. (floodlights)

FUN RIDES AHORN & GERENT
The two FunRides Ahorn and Gerent offer fun for winter sport enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels – skiers and snowboarders, beginners and pros. With wave runs, high fives, low fives, bowls, and steep turns, this slope is not about the speed or the views – it’s all about the endless fun. The FunRides are separated off from the rest of the ski resort, so you are guaranteed to have an especially safe and fun ride!
ALBERT'S PENKEN TOUR
AlbertAdler and his friends accompanie you along piste 25 on the Mount Penken, ensuring you enjoy fun and a varied descent.
EXCERSISE AREAS PENKEN & MÖSL
You will find the ExerciseAreas directly at the mountain stations of each gondola. With lifts and magic carpets it's the perfect place for children and beginners. Next to the Kombibahn mountain station there is another magic carpet for those who want to practise even more.
KIDS PARK AT PENKEN PARK
The Kids Area right at the Mittertrett T-bar lift is the perfect place for the professional snowboarders and freeskiers of tomorrow to practice. Whether it’s easy boxes or jumps of up to 4 meters, action-hungry kids will find just the right obstacles there. What makes the PenkenPark in the Horberg valley so special are its six separate areas spread out over an entire slope, offering something for everyone!
SKI KINDERGARDEN
You don’t need to have second thoughts about bringing the kids along on your skiing holiday. Even the youngest of children (from 2 - 4 years old) will be taken care of directly in Mayrhofen, and you can even take them with you up the mountain. More information at Mayrhofen's ski schools.
