Take the Ahornbahn – Austria’s largest cable car – comfortably up to Europe’s highest Bird of Prey station at 2,000 metres. Here, experienced falconers present these majestic birds in an unforgettable Bird of Prey show – informative, emotional and truly inspiring.

BIRDS OF PREY SHOW

When the Eagle's Stage Ahorn calls, your pulse naturally rises. Set at 2,000 metres, the spectacular location and the close encounter with majestic Birds of Prey make this a truly unique nature experience.

The Birds of prey Show takes place daily at 2.00 pm (except Friday). Up to 380 visitors witness breathtaking flight manoeuvres while learning fascinating facts about eagles, eagle owls and more – live in the heart of the Zillertal Alps. An experience far beyond any cinema.

From mid-June to October, the arena is open daily (except Wednesday and Friday) from 10.00 am to 12.00 pm – perfect for meeting the falconers and their birds up close.

Spread around Filzen Reservoir, visitors can delve into the history of falconry at seven exciting stations, learn all about a falconer's equipment and familiarise themselves with the local Birds of Prey. There are also many resting areas, where you can just kick back and soak up the fabulous vista.
