Description
It is said that yin yoga is more of a meditation than just purely practising the asanas.
The energy flows through our body and our nadis - our energy pathways. In addition, of course, there are our energy centres - the chakras. And it is here in the nadis (called meridians in TCM) or in our chakras that energy can build up. If the flow is interrupted or too little energy can flow, this can become visible on the outside and through physical complaints.
Yin Yoga helps you to get these energies flowing again. Normally, the asanas begin to take effect after about 90 seconds, and since in Yin Yoga the asanas are held for longer than three minutes, the effect is felt very quickly.
We hold the asanas for several minutes, completely relaxed, and experience how deep a posture can become when you fully engage in the moment. How the asana can arise from you all by itself, without a must or a will. Let the prana flow.
