The Mining Museum in Hall takes you underground. Immerse yourself in the Golden Age of Hall’s mining historywhich goes back more than 700 years! A fantastic tour for everybody!
The Mining Museum provides an insight into the history of salt extraction. It consists of arecreation of the Hall valley mines, which were shot down in 1967. Galleries, shafts, tools, minerals, a chute and much more vividly convey to the visitor what it was really like to go underground. The Mining Museum (opened 1928) is in the centre of Hall's Old Town.
